Abstract

This article sets out to present a review of Brazilian marginal poetry that emerged in the 1970s. To do so, it is considered as a maladjusted aesthetic manifestation of modern poetic patterns, with which the idea is proposed that ​​this poetry may have modified some of the traditional foundations of poetic production, particularly since the emergence of new social actors and their different sensitive ways. At the same time, this article discusses the relevance of certain critical principles that are used by academic criticism for their interpretation and evaluation.
