Abstract

The following work provides an overview of various discussions on the Act Nr.20.084 and a critical review of the enforcement of criminal penalties contemplated in it.These aspects show not only the need of a legal reform but a change in the behaviour ofthe system's actors as well, based on respect and strengthening of the rights ofadolescents.
